11 Days until Sporting play in Cape Town

There are just 11 days to go until the Cape Town Cup which will see Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon play in the Mother City.

Spectators can already purchase tickets for the inaugural Cape Town Cup, which is a football festival between host club Ajax Cape Town, SuperSport United, Sporting Clube de Portugal and Crystal Palace FC (England).

Tickets for the Cape Town Cup are available at Computicket and fans are urged to buy their tickets early, whether it be for the double-header matches on Friday (24 July) or on Sunday (26 July).

The actions begins on Friday at 17h45 with SuperSport United FC and Crystal Palace FC going head to head to secure a spot in the finals. This match will be followed by the Ajax Cape Town and Sporting Clube de Portugal at 20h15, with the teams also doing battle to secure a spot in the next round.

Sunday’s action will start at 13h00, with the losing team of Friday’s first double-header challenging the losing team of the second match.

This will be followed by the winners from Friday battling it out to be crowned 2015 Cape Town Cup champions.
