Artists transform Portuguese Street

A group of street artists called Teatro Metaphora showed what can be done given time and a load of recycable washing drums, 133 to be exact.

It took more than 6 months to collect the 133 old washing drums which a group turned into beautiful street lamps for the festival of São Pedro.

The street, located in the town of Câmara de Lobos on Madeira island, was completely transformed by the steampunk decorations.

According to the reaction from local residents were apparently mixed. What do you think?
