Avoid novas gym injuries


With Summer being here there are a lot of people who are trying to get that Summer body at the very last minute. Then there are others who have decided that getting in shape will be their New Year’s resolution.

While it’s all very well trying to transform your body for the new you, the problem is, most people are novices in the gym. Not knowing how to use the equipment can prove to be quite an ache in more ways than one.

Firstly, if the equipment isn’t used properly, that means you will not see the desired result and have little or no improvement to your body at all. This will result in you feeling despondent and quitting before you can say, “abs”.

Secondly and more seriously, you run the risk of injuring yourself with the gym equipment. In fact, gym injuries are on the rise, so be careful out there.

What is suggested is that most of you get a personal trainer or ask for help on the floor.
