So, Cape Town is well-known for being a stunner on the eyes and Capetonians are arguably one of the most friendliest people, now, we have nabbed another achievement.

According to the international travel magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Cape Town has successfully placed third as having the best food in the world. The Mother City has managed to surpass major cities and cuisines like the sushi of Tokyo or the cannoli of Rome.

The number one spot belonged to San Sebastian, who championed the votes in favour of Spain. Following their trail and coming in second was Paris with their Gastronomical je ne sais quoi or known to you and I as a croissant.

Conde Nast Traveler writer, Maria Shollenbarger, described restaurants in Cape Town as being smallish, casual but supremely stylish, and welcoming”.
