The Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo opened a museum dedicated to his own success back in 2013 in his hometown Funchal, on the island of Madeira.
The museum has since received a major facelift after being expanded to three times its original size.
Moving to a new site and opening on July 1st, Ronaldo’s museum will now be spread over two stories and 1400 square metres in which fans will find “new and improved access and the latest achievements of Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The new museum space will contain some of the Portugal skipper’s greatest prizes, including Champions League, La Liga and Premier League medals as well as shirts, boots and personal trinkets.
It will be located near the bronze statue of Cristiano in Funchal’s Plaza del Mar and close to his new CR7 hotel – the first of four to be built worldwide in a joint venture with Pestana.
