The transfer windows are all closed and yet the talks continue each day.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that PSG had made an offer for the 30-year-old star Cristiano Ronaldo, with a bid of around £110 million which Real Madrid rejected immediately.
In a previous article of ours “How much is Ronaldo worth?” we mentioned that Ronaldo’s buy out clause was revealed to 1 Billion British pounds.
Florentino told a Spanish radio station, “If PSG want Cristiano Ronaldo it’s simple: they have to pay the €1 billion release clause. No one is a prophet in football, but we don’t want to sell him in 2016, he still has 3 years left on his contract.”
The amount that PSG offered which is 2.33 billion Rand (£110 million) would have smashed the all time transfer record currently held by Gareth Bale, an amount of £85.3 million bought him from Tottenham Hotspur to Madrid in 2013.
