Some of us are all too familiar with that burning sensation in our chest (and no, it’s not the flame of love burning). I am talking about that dreaded sensation of having a house ignite into flame in your chest…heartburn.

There are so many different kinds of foods that can start this kind of reaction in your body. Sometimes it’s fatty foods, sometimes it might be spicy food and sometimes it can simply just be pressure that has been exerted against the stomach.

Whatever the cause of your unsettled flame, there are things you can do to bring a wave of calm to settle things down.

Avoiding caffeine is a good place to start, yip, that means cutting down on coffee, tea and even the dearly beloved chocolate.
