The Algarve’s Faro Airport has decided to lay down new rules this week which should leave for smooth running of drop offs.
Dropping off at the airport can be a bit of a drag but the ANA has allocated 10 minutes free to drop off passengers.
This will allow the flow of traffic to move smoothly throughout the course of the day without any delays.
“The idea is to discourage repeated curbside use and, as such, there will be a charge for the third time of use within 24 hours,” said ANA.
This idea has been implemented at other airports such as Gatwick, Heathrow, Paris, Chicago O’Hare and JFK among others. This has become known as a kiss and fly policy.
