Let’s be honest, we have all made use of Google Earth to view the satellite still images of our houses and other places of interest we know, I know I have.
People in Portugal will be pleased to know that Portugal will be receiving additional features to this cyber tool. Google has now released their “Indoor Maps’ Function” in Portugal which will allow them to view the interior of places of interest in great detail.
This means that we will be able to see inside museums, universities, malls, palaces and various other Portuguese places.
There will be 49 places in the launch which will include: The Estádio do Dragão, Museu da Marinha, the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and its Centro de Arte Moderna José de Azeredo Perdigão, the Palácio da Pena, the Palácio Nacional de Sintra, the El Corte Inglés department stores in Lisbon and Vila Nova de Gaia, the engineering faculty of the University of Oporto and Lisbon’s Instituto Superior Técnico.
