How to make seafood pasta

Pasta seems to be the ideal food lately and if you are a lover of seafood then there can be no better dish than seafood pasta.

You will need:

4 Tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves of garlic- chopped
2 medium onions- finely chopped
1 cup of Tomato Sauce
Half kilogramme whole medium prawns- deveined
2 teaspoons salt
3-4 baby calamari tubes
10 large mussels (optional)
10 large clams (optional)
4 cups fusilli pasta (or any pasta) – parboiled
1 tablespoon parsley – finely chopped

Directions:

Prepare the prawns, calamari, clams and mussels
Slice the calamari into rings rather than slices
Heat the olive oil in a large pan, add the onions to the pan, cook until golden brown
Add the garlic
Add the tomato sauce – boil on high for 2 minutes
Add 1 cup of the shellfish stock
Bring to the boil
Add the pasta, cook until al dente
Add the prawns, calamari rings, clams and mussels
Bring back to the boil

Garnish with parsley
