Nothing does your muscles good more than hitting the gym for an iron pumping session.

But you are warned that this sort of lifestyle should be maintained at all times and costs. Recent studies have shown that as little as a two week break from working out can have a huge impact on muscle strength.

Younger men lose more muscle than older men from inactivity and the more muscle you have the more you lose.

“The more muscle mass you have, the more you’ll lose. Which means that if you’re fit and become injured, you’ll most likely lose more muscle mass than someone who is unfit, over the same period of time,” said researcher, Martin Gram.
