Earlier this week we brought you news of Katy Perry who traced her roots to Portugal. Today we discovered that she is not alone, as another Californian star seems to have a little Maderian blood flowing through his veins.
Turns out, James Franco’s grandfather is part Maderian and part Swedish. He admits that even though he does not speak Portuguese, he would love to see the place of his origin.
James Franco volunteers his time at the Art of Elysium charity and has taught a class at the New York University.
Even though he won a Golden Globe Award for his portrail in the 2001 movie, James Dean, he is better known for his role as Peter Parker’s best friend, Harry Osborn, in the Spider-Man trilogy.
