We have all done it at least once in our lives… the photobomb. If you’re not sure what it is, then let me educate you.
Basically, it’s creeping up in the background of a photograph and timing it so that you will appear in it while the person or people in the foreground are unaware.
Right, now that we got that out of the way, I would like to take this time to acknowledge, Emplastro. If you are not familier with him, then you are not watching enough Portuguese television. He is extremely well known for showing up unwelcome in news shots and especially shots involving his favourite football team, Porto.
In fact, it is rumoured that Pinto da Costa, chairperson of Porto, could very well be his father.
Emplastro is Portuguese for plaster or patch and he gained this nickname because of the outstanding mole on his face. He also seems to flash a rather disturbing Cheshire cat grin. If you don’t believe me, take a look at just one of these videos below.
