Pat Bates captures Porto’s charm

Porto is arguably one of Europe’s most oldest and beautiful places as far as tourist destinations are concerned.

One person who will agree with that is artist, Pat Bates, who brings the realism of its splendour to her canvas.
Holding a BA in Art and Design, She has had three careers spanning from being a teacher at Art College, working in the textile industry with prestigious names such as Zandra Rhodes and now she is a full-time artist.
In her paintings she has captured not only the charm of Porto but also sketches a realistic portrayal of everyday life.
Her paintings are displayed at the Galeria Côrte Real.
