It should be obvious by now that one of the things Portugal is well known for is wine making.
This time, the news has hit New York magazine, Wine Spectator, which has given Portugal main feature to this month’s edition.
The cover to the feature shows a traditional Rabelo bloat floating in front of Oporto’s riverside area.
The magazine focused on the various wines being produced by Portugal such as green wines and ports. It also spoke of tradition that went hand in hand with modernity.
“The clash of tradition and modernity, amid an amazing array of grape varieties, terroirs and winemaking cultures, makes Portugal one of the most dynamic wine-producing nations in the world today. With refined red table wines and focused whites from indigenous grapes taking a place on the world stage, this diverse and beautiful land offers much more than Port,” said an excerpt of the magazine.
