Portugal’s underpaid graduates

Portugal's underpaid graduates

For those who are lucky enough and know what they want to do after school, going to university seems to be the next logical step.

In Portugal, a graduate is almost asserted that he will gain employment in the job market. However, the only worry is that they will not get a job that pays well enough. In comparison to some graduates in South Africa, that does not sound half bad.

The results of the study, which was entitled, “Graduate employment in Portuguese businesses” was presented in Porto last week.

According to this study, students who gained a doctorate degree had a 94 percent chance of finding employment. Unfortunately, less than 40 percent of those graduates will find their salary satisfactory.
