Portuguese Deal Imminent For SA Youngster

South African youngster, Miguel Dias, is set to complete a move to Portuguese side, Boavista, in the next few days after beginning training with the club.

The 18-year-old midfielder spent last season with Dutch side, PEC Zwolle, playing with their U19 squad, but will now be hoping to push up the ranks once he puts pen to paper with his new club.

Having tracked down the player’s representative, Ashley Kotzin, the Siya crew were informed that the talented midfield man should have his move completed in the coming week.

Kotzin told the crew, “He’s highly technically gifted, but needs time to settle and get game time. His grandmother lives very close to Boavista, so we moved him down there.

“We’re still working on his paperwork, he’s not officially their player but he is training there. Hopefully things should be sorted in the next week.”

The crew is led to believe that Dias is set to sign a two-year deal at the club with the possibility of a one-year option.
