Extreme sport seems like a good idea to tick off things from your bucket list. It also gives you the feeling that you are actually living your life to the extreme.
The thrill and adventure might all be good and well until something happens. Recently, a 23-year-old girl was killed as she bungee jumped off a bridge in Spain.
According to reports, it was Kleyo de Abreu’s second jump for the day which caused her fatality. It was also reported that the length of the bungee rope had been miscalculated, causing her to slam against the lower bridge.
Kleyo was with her aunt on holiday when the ordeal happened and her aunt witnessed the horrific scene. Her body was hanging from the rope for 23 minutes before medical attention arrived.
Kleyo studied fashion at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in Cape Town and her mother is of Portuguese decent and her father British. She had recently moved up to London after her studies.
