SA Teen Heading To Benfica

South African teenager, Jess Rom, will get the chance to shine in Europe this month after jetting out to join up with Benfica for a few weeks.
The youngster, who only turned 17 earlier this year, has been invited to a three week programme with the Portuguese giants and he will no doubt be hoping to leave his mark on the club’s technical team during his time there.
Rom will be a part of the Elite Development International Program between April 1st and April 30th at the club’s training centre in Seixal, with the club providing all of his accommodation and his welfare during his stay.
Having left South Africa where he has been playing for Black Aces, Rom will be eager to try and map out a future for himself in Europe now that he has been given the chance to show his mettle there this month.
