Salem Hajdarovac makes Pope Francis’ chair

Salem Hajdarovac makes Pope Francis' chair

There is no reason why different faiths should divide people and Pope Francis is a shining example of this.

For his trip to Bosnia, a Muslim family was assigned the honourable task of creating a chair for the pope to sit on.

It is rumoured that Salem Hajdarovac could not sleep for a week when he heard the good news.

He will be working on the chair with his son, Edin, and has already pushed back some other work so that he can devote more time into making the pope’s chair.

The chair will be used on 6 June, when the pope will hold a mass in Sarajevo.

Many Christian Serb Orthodox, Catholics and Muslims find Francis to be a champion at inter-faith cooperation and this act is testament to that.
