Vasco da Gama in trouble

Vasco da Gama went down 4-1 away to AmaZulu in their National First Division clash in Kwa Mashu on Sunday.

It was Marc van Heerden who opened the scoring with a left footed piledriver after 23 minutes. And he turned provider for the second goal, crossing to Namibian Petrus Shitembi to head home.

In the second half, Shitembi won a penalty and Nomvethe stepped up to convert. With a goal on debut, ‘Bhele’ was then taken off and replaced by another debutant in Zaid Patel.
