Vasco da Gama’s Botswana international forward Omaatla Kebatho says that he is happy with his progress since returning from injury.
Kebatho has been involved in international duty for his country Botswana during the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and will now turn his attention to Vasco’s National First Division (NFD) challenges.
“I have just started playing again. I played in two games at Vasco and everything is progressing well,” Kebatho told the media recently.
“I believe I still have a few more years, not necessarily at Vasco but in the PSL,” said the former Sankoyo Bush Bucks and ECCO City Greens striker.
The 22-year-old striker came on as a second-half substitute as Botswana overcame Mali 2-1 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification (CAF) second-round first-leg clash in Francistown on Saturday.
But Kebatho and his Zebras teammates lost 2-0 to Mali’s Eagles in the second-leg encounter in Bamako on Tuesday and went crashing out of the Qualifiers.
This will please Vasco da Gama who will hope to get more out of their Botswana international during the NFD campaign.
