Two men saved from Madeiran sea

The sea can be a cruel place sometimes to have a career as two men discovered recently.

However, the problems they incurred were not your usual sea life problems. Their vessel was fine and they did not even come close to drowning or landing up in a storm.

In the Madeiran sea, a man from Madeira, aged 22 found himself suffering an allergic reaction to the engine oil that was aboard the vessel he was on. The second man was aged 56 and was an Angolan who was suffering from chest pain.

Both men had to be transported from the boat they were on and received help from the Portuguese Navy, the Air Force, the Patient Emergency Coordination Centre and Funchal Port.
