Vasco da Gama draw with Baroka FC

Vasco da Gama drew with Baroka FC away from home in the National First Division this past weekend, their third draw in as many games.

The Mother City club may have been happy with this result away from home on another day, but given that they are awaiting their first victory in 2015/16, the result is likely to have frustrated Tony de Nobrega and his troops.

After three games the team from Parow have now slipped into 11th place on thew NFD table and play Witbank Spurs away from home in their next game on 19 September.

Meanwhile another Mother City side, Cape Town All Stars, continue to lead the way in the National First Division. They managed a third successive win at the start of the 2015/16 season when they defeated African Warriors 1-0 on Friday night.

Fellow Cape side Santos drew 2-2 with Thanda Royal Zulu in Cape Town while FC Cape Town and Milano United drew 0-0 at Philippi Stadium.
