Too much of a good thing is bad for you, we have all heard that saying one too many times.
And when it comes to those who have a sweet tooth, the saying could not be truer. Yes, our bodies all need sugar to function normally but over indulging has its obvious repercussions.
In essence sugar is a simple carbohydrate which can be found in many different forms.
This is what makes it exceptionally difficult to keep track of the amount of sugar in our daily diets.
So next time you are taking in some carbohydrates, do not shy away from the bread but rather opt for a healthier version. Instead of eating white bread, try eating seed loaf or eating one to two slices instead of four to six.
