The Algarve’s largest sea-life theme park Zoomarine is set to reopen for another season from 28 March 2017.
It reopens with new features such as Treasure Island, the Aquasplash water battle area and the Zoomarine express train.
Another new feature lending to the park’s environmental sustainability aspect is a large photovoltaic solar panel, which will generate more power for self-consumption and save over 1,600 tons of CO2 emissions.
Zoomarine also has a conservation practice and a rescue center for marine life where they teach not only children but adults alike about how the way we as people effect the marine ecosystems. They save many marine animals yearly and like to educate people on the importance of marine life.
